    The beauty found in Gloucestershire


    Gloucestershire is a county filled with beautiful landscapes and places of architectural and historical significance. It is no wonder that people come from all areas to photograph some of the ‘Shires’ beauties.

In the Queen’s Garden you will find over 70 varieties of roses on display and the estate is 1,200 acres where you can muse over how would have set to be a member of royalty walking around these grounds. Gloucester Cathedral has been the backdrop for a number of well known television shows and films including Harry Potter, Wolf Hall, Hollow Crown and Mary Queen of Scots.

    If you want to incorporate the beauty of nature, water and engineering then you must take a trip to Stanway House where the magnificent water garden will have you busy taking pictures for hours on end. The single jet fountain is the tallest gravity fed fountain found in the world and reaches a height of 300 feet. On sunny days the fountain appears to create its own rainbow as the sunlight glistens through the water.

    There are just a few of the gems that can be found in Gloucestershire that provide some breath-taking backgrounds for both professional and amateur photographers alike.
